January's LOTW show brings much acclaimed Birmingham 3 piece Johnny Foreigner to York for a night of joyous pop. Newly signed to Best Before records, their bewildering sound is brimming with Sonic Youth like guitars, yelpy boy-girl vocals and a solid rythm section. Acoustic support comes from 20 year old Sam Isaac from the midlands, whose single "sideways" was released in December by Big Scary Monster Records
