Christian Aid's "Cut the Carbon" marchers pass through York on the leg from Haxby to Selby. Meet the marchers 11.00 to 11.20am approx in St Sampson’s Square. Hopefully one or two will speak about what they are doing and why. People are then invited to accompany the marchers from St Sampson’s Square to the Millennium Bridge (via Kings Staith and New Walk) where, at 11.50am approx, short prayers will be said for progress on achieving the Millennium Development Goals.
