When a group of campaigners spotted Navy Commandos recruiting in York city centre yesterday, they staged an impromptu 'die-in' protest. Six people, an hour of planning, some red paint and chalk and the was ready to be carried out. Passers-by responded in different ways, with some visibly disturbed by the scene and others laughing.
