 <title>York Critical Mass</title>
 <link>http://york.indymedia.org.uk/criticalmass</link>
 <description>&lt;p&gt;Since October 2006, cyclists from York and beyond have met each other at the Minster on the first Friday of every month. At 6pm, or thereabouts, those assembled have cycled off in which ever direction they choose, and gone for a ride around the city. The route has always been decided as the ride progresses, but they&amp;#039;ve always ended up back somewhere in the city centre. A sound system has nearly always been provided for entertainment. The message is simple: the bike represents a fun and environmentally sound method of transport.&lt;/p&gt;
