LUX illuminates Micklegate

The LUX art event on Micklegate opened on 18th Jan, and runs for eleven nights. LUX is a trail of after-dark artworks created by graduates and students of York St John University, Visions Multimedia Worship, and Yorkshire Film Archive. The artists are using performance, film, projection, and more, to animate and reveal this beautiful, historic, and sometimes under-appreciated street.

Forthcoming performances include contemporary dance, at 6pm and 7pm on 26th and 27th January, beginning at St Martin-cum-Gregory Church (St Martin's Lane entrance).
