Indymedia York

York Indymedia can now host 'group sites'. There are a couple already Workers of the World York and the Faslane 365 group. Groups is in beta and more features will be added.

At the moment you can already set up your group.

You can decide if it is a group open for people to subscribe and post to, or if you want to make it invite only. You can make your group have public and private posts. Posts can appear on the Indymedia Newswire, or just on your site. Your group has its own calendar and can have forums too.

In the future we hope to enable groups to be able to add their own logos, themes, and change how their front page is displayed. There is also the opportunity to start galleries and lots of other exciting features...
