After the success of last year's first ever 'Green Festival' in Rowntrees Park, the organisers have decided to come back again in 2008.
It is hoped through the experience gained last year, 2008 will see the festival grow and become something very special.
An initial planning meeting has been scheduled for 6 February at 8pm in the Black Swan on Peasholme Green. There will be feedback from the organisers of last year's event and this will be an opportunity to discuss ideas of how the festival should evolve.
All are welcome to attend, so if you want to be involved in the planning of what should be one of the highlights of the coming summer, please come along.

Why not make a group on here? If you want to theme it up differently you can - ask me for help if you want.
By the way did folks see http://www.guardian.co.uk/technology/2008/jan/14/facebook not that it's a actually a surprise that venture capitalists are evil and have evil politics, or that the CIA openly funds start up technology companies.
Groups
Yeah, I read that article - Facebook is far from ideal, but loads of people do use it, so. . . .
I'll suggest starting a group on here at the planning meeting, it would certainly suit my political outlook to do so.
