Indymedia York is largely organised using a public e-mail list. To join the list add your e-mail on the list information page. To send an e-mail to the list address it to imc-york((at))lists.indymedia.org.

Indymedia York has occasional face to face meetings they are announced on the site and the e-mail list. Meetings are organised in advance on the e-mail list.

Purpose

York Indymedia is an open-publishing platform that brings to light stories of genuine local concern to the people of York and North Yorkshire. The nature of the content of the site will be determined by the participation of people within this geographical area, and the interests and skills that they bring to the York Indymedia project.
