York Indymedia can now host 'group sites'. There are a couple already Workers of the World York and the Faslane 365 group. Groups is in beta and more features will be added.

At the moment you can already set up your group.

Creating a group

Your group

Somewhere you're group has:

  • public postings about what you are doing,
  • postings that only members can see,
  • a group calendar, and group forums for discussion,
  • a page you control, but can share with other groups in York.
  • a site that can be open for people to choose to join or you can invite them.

Creating your groups site is easy!
